Ghost Hard: Inkheads Final Show!
During the month of October in 2012 the Inkheads printmaking group had their final joint show! The Inkheads was an official student group at the University of Nevada, Reno studying printmaking, producing and showing work locally in Reno, Nevada. Together we made serious strides. Everyone in this group is an artist I respect. Thanks again to the Sierra Tap House which hosted for us yet again. Alana Berglund was our curator and coordinator.

PUBLICATION

2012
Look for my smiling face in the February 2012 issue of student generated Insight Magazine from the Journalism department at my alma mater - the University of Nevada, Reno. I'm featured in the article "Breaking out of the Garage" by Nick Rattigan
Thanks for the Interview!

At the time of the interview - December 2011 - I was Captain of the Indie Reno (formerly Handmade Hustlers) Etsy team. At this time Shelly Jackson of Clockwork Monster and ZizziesandIzzies has taken over that illustrious position. Find out more about Indie Reno at www.indiereno.org

2011
The Inkheads Haunted show in October 2011 was covered by a reporter for the University of Nevada, Reno newsroom. This show, as explained above, was a fundraising effort by the Inkheads to help sponsor student travel to the Souther Graphics Conference International held in March of 2012.

2010
Indie Reno was featured in the Reno News and Review article See Crafts during November of 2010. Megan Berner, a fellow printmaker and professor of Photography at the Unviersity of Nevada Reno interviewed me for a perspective on the small business and craft aspect of my work and involvement with Indie Reno. This was a lot of fun, my picture even made it to the front page!
Thanks RN&R

My RN&R Box a the Reception!

As a part of the studio formerly known as Oxbow Press, I was invited by Sierra Arts to participate in painting one of the many Reno News and Review News Boxes during September of 2010. Sierra Arts was kind enough to provide us with some supplies, helped us move the boxes and even held a reception for our effort

Another side of my RN&R box!
.
The Reno News and Review published an article relating to the reception and the Art Box campaign. They commented on funding for Nevada Artists and their efforts to positively impact their community through the Art Box project. Sincere thanks to the Reno News and Review for this project and coverage, as well as to Sierra Arts for the reception and positive experience.
